The key to a successful practice
(1) Work with managed care
to the extent you must.
(2) Build a professionally satisfying and financially
rewarding practice outside managed care constraints.
Like most good strategies, this one is simple. It will,
however, be difficult to pull off for many therapists. The staff of Psychotherapy
Finances is totally dedicated to helping you succeed. And we have a 6-part game plan
to accomplish that goal.

The
purpose of this website
For subscribers:
(1) Extend the
value of subscriptions by providing addition material that
can't be covered in the newsletter.
(2) Make
available a large number of back issues and survey data.
(3) Provide a
blog (coming soon) so readers can exchange information and
keep up on industry news.
For
non-subscribers: Give them a
sample of the valuable and exclusive material in every issue
Psychotherapy Finances. This
website contains less than 10% of the material that's in the
newsletter. And some features, like Managed Care Alerts that
list openings on panels, are never on the site. |

Who we are:
Psychotherapy Finances is a newsletter written expressly for the
behavioral health practitioner. We’ve been in business
since 1974, providing our readers with the latest news and ideas
for building strong private practices.
We’re a family-owned and
operated company, with no ties to the insurance industry or any of the
professional organizations. That
means we’re always an independent voice. Because we’re supported solely by the clinicians who subscribe
to our newsletter, we’re free to tell a straight story – without
cant or politics.
Each month, the print edition of Psychotherapy Finances offers
dozens of ideas to help you survive and thrive in a difficult
business environment.
